A pioneer in taking IT retail away from the usual geek haunts to an upscale mall at Orchard Road, we were the first in switching Singaporeans to the Mac lifestyle with free training courses. We took risks with first-to-market retail and marketing strategies. None before us brought such a comprehensive range of exclusive Apple-complementary products to meet all Mac lovers’ wants.

EpiCentre is a first-mover to deliver not only a complete range of Apple products within a tactile in-store experience true to that of Apple Store, but also an industry leader in providing the most comprehensive variety of Apple and non-Apple branded accessories and innovative services. iPavilion® – A revolutionary roads how concept, reminiscent of the MacWorld, offering the most comprehensive first-to-market Apple-complementary products. This is branded for easy recognition, as we are ready to have our own road shows, independent from SITEX, Comex, IT Show and PC Show. Our vendors will get to leverage off this ‘branded’ concept.
iConcierge Service – The only-of-its-kind counter service providing technical advice and support, providing an opportunity for cross-selling and up-selling. It is also a courtesy service, to wrap up a pleasant buying experience.
iWorld® – EpiCentre’s very own proprietary brand of accessories, using the Original Brand Manufacturing model. This increases an additional venue for distribution, even to IT retailers.
EpiLife™ – Leveraging off the established ‘EpiCentre’ brand, we are ready for a spin-off to a younger, more irreverent lifestyle brand – epiLife™, offering a range of non-Apple branded fashion-skewed accessories. The store will be strategically located near EpiCentre, for easy captivity of consumers and for the purposes of shared resources. Expansion and franchise plans are next in the pipeline.
epiGuard™ – Underwritten by Liberty Assurance Group, this is a first-ever protection plan for Apple products, covering accidental spillage and theft. epiGuard™ gives customers further peace of mind by covering the areas that AppleCare doesn’t.
Seminars & Workshops – EpiCentre is the pioneer in this area. Transition to a Mac is easy with iSwitch™ – our free bundled newcomer training courses. This is great opportunity for allowing the public to buy into our vision while reinforcing our leadership position.
EpiCentre membership – Customers can enjoy a lifestyle privilege programme, while EpiCentre retains customers’ loyalty. Data mining is used to cull important customer information so as to provide relevant products and services, to result in repeated purchases. The data is also being used for further in-depth consumer research.
Trade-in EpiCentre – partners with a third party to receive trade-ins, thus, encouraging new purchases at the store itself, and increased footfalls.
Qualified and certified Mac Evangelists – EpiCentre’s staff has to be Apple-certified to be able to offer expert advice to all Apple-related queries. Staff are required to take regular ASTO (Apple Sales Training Online) tests to be eligible for the role.
30-day extended exchange period – Whilst many provide a 7 or 14-day returns policy, EpiCentre value-adds by providing a 30-Day Extended Exchange Period for many of its products.
